License Activation
Sthang must verify a license for your current Windows profile before the main workspace opens. Activation uses a signed license.json file; there is no license text box to fill in.
Activate this Windows profile
- Open Sthang and find Device code on the license screen.
- Use the copy control beside the code, then send it through the private licensing channel provided by Sthang.
- Save the returned file as
license.jsonwithout editing or renaming it. - Choose Import license.json and select that file.
You can instead place license.json beside Sthang.exe, reopen Sthang, and choose Check again. When activation succeeds, the license screen closes and the main workspace opens.
If activation stays blocked
- Confirm that the file is the complete signed
license.json, not a copied excerpt or renamed text file. - Check the Windows date, time, and time zone.
- Confirm that the license was issued for the Device code currently shown. A hardware or Windows identity change may produce a new code.
- Do not delete a previously working license while troubleshooting. Contact the private licensing channel with the current Device code and the message shown by Sthang.
An update does not require a new license while the existing license is unexpired and still matches the device. Keep the license private and include its application-data location in your backup.
