Configure Sthang
Configure one trusted path before live work. Start with a low-value wallet folder and one network, confirm both independently, and add optional routing only when your setup requires it.
Before you begin
- Complete Set up Sthang, including activation and your first backup.
- Have a trusted network provider ready. An RPC endpoint is the connection Sthang uses to read from and submit work to a blockchain network.
- Use a low-value test wallet folder for the first configuration pass.
Recommended order
- Create the test folder, add one wallet, and confirm its derived address in Wallet Setup and Safety.
- Add one RPC, choose Test, and confirm its chain identity in Network and RPC Setup.
- If your environment requires controlled routing, configure and test it in Proxy Settings. Do not add a proxy merely because the option exists.
- Reopen Wallet Manager and Networks and confirm that the wallet folder, address, network name, and tested chain still match your intention.
Completion check
Configuration is ready for a first read-only session when the intended wallet alias and address are present, the network row passes Test on the correct chain, and any enabled proxy has passed its own test. No live mint, transfer, Sweep, signing, or broadcast action is needed to verify setup.
If any identity, network, or stored reference is unexpected, stop and correct it before continuing. Do not work around a failed provider or proxy by silently switching to an unreviewed alternative.
