Terms of use

These terms describe use of Sthang, a personal hobby project operated from Cambodia. “Sthang” is a project name, not the name of a registered company. By using a Sthang website, application, or optional integration, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the relevant service.

Hobby project and beta software

Sthang ACO and Sthang Studio are provided for evaluation and practical use. Sthang ACO is privately distributed Windows software for operator-reviewed Web3 workflows. Sthang Studio is Beta software for local caption editing and export. Features, availability, documentation, and integrations may change or stop without notice.

The software is provided “as is” and “as available.” Sthang does not promise that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or suitable for a particular purpose. You remain responsible for reviewing every displayed address, network, listing, caption, provider response, and transaction before acting.

Eligibility and responsible use

You must be legally able to use the service where you live and must meet any age or eligibility requirement imposed by a connected provider. In particular, Discord users must meet Discord’s own minimum-age and account requirements. Do not use Sthang for unlawful activity, abuse of a provider, evasion of access controls, interference with another person’s account, or activity that could harm people or systems.

You are responsible for your device, network, wallet material, API keys, Discord account, and any actions taken through your accounts. Sthang is not investment, financial, legal, tax, or security advice. Blockchain transactions can be irreversible and can lose value.

Optional Discord connection

Sthang’s Discord connection is optional and read-only. It requests only Discord’s identify and guilds scopes to show account health and guild names. It does not read messages, send messages, join servers, react, create or manage raffles, or perform other Discord write automation.

You authorize Discord to provide the permitted data and must comply with Discord’s Developer Terms of Service, Developer Policy, and other applicable Discord rules. Discord remains a separate service. Sthang does not control Discord availability, account decisions, or provider retention.

The Discord client secret stays on Sthang’s server-side broker. Callback and polling authorities are represented by one-way hashes, while token and capability envelopes are encrypted for protected handling during the short-lived operation. The desktop stores credentials only in the Windows current-user protected vault. The interface exposes opaque handles rather than credentials. Disconnect or delete the connection when you no longer want local credentials retained.

Third-party services

Sthang may connect to services you choose or that are needed for a requested feature, including Discord, Cloudflare, blockchain networks, RPC providers, marketplaces, and Google Gemini for Sthang Studio’s AI-assisted wording. Those services have their own terms, privacy notices, limits, and outages. You are responsible for checking them before use. Sthang does not grant you rights to third-party content or services.

Intellectual property

Sthang’s name, original interface, documentation, and project artwork belong to the Sthang project or their respective licensors. You retain rights to material you provide. You give Sthang only the limited permission needed to operate a requested feature; Sthang does not claim ownership of your wallet data, captions, audio, or Discord account.

Suspension and changes

Access may be limited or stopped to protect the project, providers, users, or systems, or when these terms are breached. You may stop using Sthang at any time. Sthang may update these terms by publishing a revised version at this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Sthang is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or provider-caused loss arising from use of the project. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or liability that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.

Governing law and contact

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of Cambodia, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you. Questions, privacy requests, and notices may be sent to privacy@sthang.app. Please do not send wallet keys, API keys, OAuth tokens, or other secrets by email.
