IBM Plex Mono webfont assets

IBM Plex Mono supplies code, numbered indices and release/status labels. Body copy and ordinary controls use the shared proportional stack.

The build preparation script uses the Latin normal 400, 500 and 700 WOFF2 files from @fontsource/ibm-plex-mono 5.3.0, pinned to fontsource/font-files commit 83e03cf917507fcc90b29be549828ec4ff39a8ef. Exact font and licence Git blob hashes are maintained in scripts/prepare-landing-fonts.mjs.

The generated font files are ignored by Git. Each target prepares and serves its own /fonts/ibm-plex-mono/ assets; no visitor-side font CDN request is needed. The original LICENSE is copied unchanged from the pinned Fontsource package and remains under the SIL Open Font License 1.1. Preparation verifies the source licence and production verification compares the built copy byte-for-byte.

Source and built inventory checks reject unlisted files. Use a clean checkout if old ignored font assets remain; the script does not remove files automatically.

No Aptos font files belong in this directory or either public build.
